Hello, I have decided to use the country Finland to work with for Geology this semester. Finland does not have many natural disasters and hazards that it faces as a country but it does deal with a few. Most of Finland's natural disasters result from blizzards and flooding. Flooding seems to be the main disaster that has the most negative effect on the country and causing its people the most financial damage as well. The also do have earthquakes but their earthquakes are have not been recorded with high Richter scale readings. I hope everyone enjoys learning along with me about this interesting country this semester.
